The IPBES Secretariat is inviting governments and other relevant organisations including national science academies to nominate experts to contribute to the Platform's 2014 - 2018 Work Programme ...
Building on discussions which took place at the IAP EC and the IAC Board Meetings last year in Halle, Saale, and IAP's work in biodiversity, IAP Members if interested can nominate experts.
The template, available online at: http://www.ipbes.net/ should be accompanied by a short Curriculum Vitae and a clear indication to which work programme deliverable the nomination is made.
Nominations are requested for the following Task Forces and Expert Groups:

Deliverable 1a &1b Task Force on capacity-building
Deliverable 1c Task Force on indigenous and local knowledge systems
Deliverable 1d Task Force on knowledge and data
Deliverable 2a Expert Group to develop a guide on production and integration of assessments from and across all scales
Deliverable 3a Expert Group for delivering an assessment on pollinators, pollination and food production
Deliverable 3c Expert Group for scoping and delivering a methodological assessment and development of a guide on scenario analysis and modeling of biodiversity and ecosystem services
Deliverable 3d Expert Group for scoping of a methodological assessment and development of a guide regarding diverse conceptualization of values of biodiversity and nature’s benefits to people including ecosystem services
Deliverable 4c Expert Group to develop a guide on and a catalogue of Policy support tools and methodologies

Deadline for submission to IAP: 24 February 2014
Earlier nominations are encouraged and late nominations cannot be considered. IAP will forward nominations from its member academies to the IPBES Secretariat.
