The leadership of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) visits IAP HQ in Trieste, Italy ...
Prof. Surendra raj Kafle, Vice-Chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Nepal was in Trieste in March 2014 to hold meetings with the IAP Secretariat, and with the leadership of TWAS and ICTP.
IAP Coordinator Peter McGrath and Prof. Kafle explored opportunities for enhanced collaboration of NAST in IAP activities and to possible ways for NAST to increase its outreach at national and regional level within IAP's objectives to build the capacities of national science academies. NAST has recently published two booklets on Science Education through Communication within a project supported by IAP. For copies of the Booklet, please contact the IAP Secretariat.
